Free tool
This free case converter switches text between twelve formats: sentence case, lower case, UPPER CASE, Title Case, camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, kebab-case, SCREAMING_SNAKE, alternating caps, inverted caps, and one that strips line breaks. Your text never leaves your browser, there is no sign-up, and there is no limit on how much you paste in.
You can lock up to three conversions at once. They apply in the order you clicked them, left to right, so you can strip the line breaks out of a PDF paste and turn the result into kebab-case in a single step.

Five steps, and nothing to install.
Built for our own work, free for yours. No sign-up on any of them.
Most of these are jobs that are quick once and miserable forty times.
camelCase for variables, PascalCase for classes, SCREAMING_SNAKE for constants, without renaming each one by hand.
kebab-case turns a headline into the slug it should have had, in one click.
snake_case a list of spreadsheet headers before they become column names.
Remove New Lines pulls a paragraph back out of text that arrived broken across forty short lines.
Title Case follows the usual rule of leaving short joining words lowercase unless they start the line.
Sentence case rescues a paragraph typed with caps lock on, and inverted caps flips one that came out backwards.
What happens to your text, and the three places the converter will surprise you.
No. Every conversion runs in your own browser, and the text is never sent to us or to anyone else. The page does send three counters, how many results were produced, how many were copied, and one per visit, so we can see whether the tool is used. Those are numbers only and carry none of your text.
No. There is no character limit and no daily cap. Very large amounts of text will depend on your own device, since the work happens there.
They run in the order you clicked them, left to right, and the number on each button shows its place. Remove New Lines followed by kebab-case gives a different result from kebab-case followed by Remove New Lines. Three is the most you can chain at once.
Nothing is locked yet. The tool does not guess a format for you, so until you click at least one transformation there is no result to show. Pasting text on its own will not fill it.
Sentence case lowercases everything first and then capitalises the letter after each full stop, question mark or exclamation mark. That is what makes it reliable on text typed with caps lock on, and it is also why NASA comes back as Nasa. Retype those few words afterwards.
Spaces, hyphens and underscores. Punctuation is not a break, so “hello, world” becomes “hello,World” with the comma still in it. Strip punctuation first if you are making an identifier out of a sentence.
Fifteen short joining words: a, an, the, and, but, or, for, nor, on, at, to, by, in, of and up. Any of them is still capitalised when it is the first word.
Yes. Upper, lower, sentence, title, alternating and inverted caps all use your browser’s own Unicode rules, so accented Latin, Greek and Cyrillic convert correctly. Scripts without upper and lower case, such as Arabic or Chinese, pass through unchanged, which is the right answer for them.
Free tools are a small part of what we do. The rest is websites and digital products for businesses serious about growth, whether you are launching, scaling or transforming.
